Security glitches bug Microsoft browser

Microsoft says it is looking into reports of another security hole in its Internet Explorer Web browser that could leave users’ private files vulnerable.

The latest bug allows malicious Web site operators to use script to open a new browser window with the computer owner’s security safeguards. The maliciously scripted window can display any file on a person’s computer.

The discovery marks the third time in recent months that Microsoft has grappled with weaknesses in IE’s cross-frame security.
