Microsoft, Intel developing Bluetooth standard

Industry giants Intel and Microsoft have teamed up to jointly develop a Windows-compatible standard to be released later this year to use Bluetooth wireless technology to connect cellular phones with computers.

Intel has already developed Bluetooth software that will allow the wireless transfer of computer files, synchronization between devices, and dial-up networking.
