RadioShack shoots for the moon

Electronics retailer RadioShack has announced plans to co-sponsor what could be the first commercial lunar landing.

LunaCorp of Arlington, Va., hopes to send a robot probe to the moon in late 2003 to search for ancient ice that could reveal secrets of the solar system. The privately held startup plans to fund the mission through corporate sponsors and exclusive TV deals, Internet portal fees, and government contracts.
