Intel has announced its Dot.Station “Web appliance” that will provide a phone, Internet access, email, calender, phone book and other services in a box designed to sit on a counter. The device sports a high-resolution monitor, a separate silver keyboard and a Linux OS that Intel chose, according to the company, at the request of the ISPs who will buy the machine.
