Microsoft, Intel plan joint future

At Microsoft’s annual meeting for financial analysts this week, Microsoft and Intel announced a joint marketing agreement designed to see that the machines that enable the Internet and other networks are running Microsoft software on Intel-based servers. Chairman Bill Gates also delivered a vision statement that expanded on the software company’s plans to maintain current profit levels in a .net world.
