BBC seeks unjammable radio

The BBC is moving to protect its signal from political censors by signing an agreement with WorldSpace, a digital satellite radio service which will send much-harder-to-jam programming to the next generation of radios. Experience in places like Kosovo, Burma, and Iraq, where political forces have taken over or blocked radio broadcasters in recent years, has encouraged the venerable outlet to consider satellite transmission.
