The infamous “I Love You” virus, already having caused historic levels of damage, continues to spread among large corporate networks that have failed to update their virus protection. Nearly 50 new versions of the original program have appeared in recent months. The last, named VBS/Loveletter.Bj, was contained in an attachment titled US PRESIDENT AND FBI SECRETS. It attained greater than average distribution because it was opened by a member of “an unidentified media entity” with a large number of external organizations in his or her Outlook phonebook.
