Micron Technology Inc. has revealed a new line of flash memory products fully compatible with the SDRAM memory interface that Rambus Inc. claims to own. Micron is already engaged in legal battles with Rambus over pivotal aspects of both SDRAM and DDR memory. “SyncFlash is a nonvolatile flash device with fully compatible SDRAM 100MHz interface,” a company spokesman said. Rambus successfully won an out-of-court settlement with Hitachi over a similar interface case involving the Dreamcast game console.
