IBM execs dispute Intel's P2P views

Chemists from Liverpool University have developed self-assembling links consisting of single electrically conducting molecules that can be switched on and off. David Schiffrin and his team used organic molecules called thiols that attach themselves to gold for wiring nano-sized objects. While the process is not ready for the mass fabrication, it does represent important movement toward finding a way to connect a number of important nanotech gadgets, such as the components of quantum computers, that have been created in the last few years.
