Intel plans cheaper 1.3GHz P4

According to published reports, Sega Corp. may write game software for Nintendo Co. Ltd.’s next portable video game system, Game Boy Advance. Sega already has the technological information needed to begin the process.

In related news, the Asian Wall Street Journal is reporting that sources close to Sega say the company is close to abandoning its game console business to concentrate on other parts of the electronics business. A company spokesman denied this persistent rumor, claiming Sega plans to increase its share of the market from its current 4.2 percent to 25 percent by increasing the number of consoles that use Sega software.
