Kentron doubles DDR DRAM bandwidth

The US Federal Communications Commission has approved, with a few restrictions, the merger of America Online and Time Warner to create the world’s biggest media entertainment group. The new “AOL Time Warner” will have 26 million Net subscribers and media outlets that include CNN, HBO, Sports Illustrated and Warner Bros. The company will have to open, somewhat, AOL’s instant messaging service to rival providers using Time Warner’s cable lines.
