Canadian firm launchs digital music service

Just days after the return of a repackaged Napster, the first Canadian digital music download service launched Tuesday. “Puretracks, developed by Toronto-based Moontaxi Media Inc., joins a crowded market of “legitimate” on-line music services that includes Apple Computer Inc.’s iTunes, Buymusic.com, MusicMatch and Real Networks’ Rhapsody.”
