Apple enthusiasts are crossing their fingers in hopes of seeing new portables unveiled at next week's Macworld show in San Francisco. Sources predict that dual-processor servers could surface at the show, along with a new PowerBook for business users. Rumors of new iMacs have also been circulated. Apple is said to be working on a revised notebook design intended to be lighter and faster than current models. Sources say the recently introduced G4 chip won't be featured in the new notebooks - yet. Motorola has said the chips currently consume too much power to be used in mobile applications. The story appears at www.news.com.
